Meet David C. Kurkowski, Ph.D., CEO

 

David Kurkowski is CEO of Kurkowski Market Research, which is located in Cape May, NJ.  KMR specializes in qualitative market research, including personal interviews and focus groups.  Although Dr. Kurkowski has conducted research studies in a wide variety of fields, including consumer behavior, banking, animal health, non-profit fund-raising, and jury research, KMR’s primary focus today is in the healthcare field.

 

Dr. Kurkowski began his career as a moderator with The Vanderveer Group in 1982 and served as Project Director and then Executive Director.  In 1987, he founded Kurkowski and Associates with offices in Lansdale and North Wales, PA.  In 2002, operations moved to Cape May, NJ with a new name, Kurkowski Market Research.  Today, KMR has five moderators and a support staff of seven employees.

 

Dr. Kurkowski has vast experience in the healthcare field and has worked in just about every specialized field.  In addition to the usual qualitative techniques, he has created new and innovative approaches to qualitative market research which involve props, images, projective techniques, and role-play. 

 

Recently, Dr. Kurkowski has pioneered the use of the Internet in conjunction with qualitative telephone interviews.  This advance has been enthusiastically received by the healthcare industry as a way to collect high-quality market data in a most cost-effective and efficient manner.  KMR continues to advance new ways to refine the Internet technology.
